as we turn the 2nd floor rotunda at Quincy Market into a dance club!

This is so cool, huh? And we're going!!! It will be only the second time we've been to a "dance club" and we're so excited!
Even though it's going to be chaperoned, it's really exciting to get to be around all these other people our age! Maybe we'll make some new friends. Maybe we'll just have fun dancing the (early) night away! Maybe we can find out how to get involved next year in Youth Pride! Maybe all of the above!
YAY! We're going to the dance! Can't wait to tell you about it!

We're still thinking about what we're going to wear. They apparently do this kind of dance every year during Pride Month and we're going to call and talk to somebody to see if people usually come in some kind of costume that relates to the theme.

And I have to have something where I can wear my eyeliner!
I hope you guys have a blast. Im working a booth this year for my job, helping to set up. Ive never been to the parade and cant wait to see it. Maybe Ill bump into you two. LOL
ReplyDeleteCool! We went to the one last year and had a good time. We went with this older (than us) couple who sorta took us under their wings.
DeleteHey, if you see two young guys all over each other, just yell, "Matt and Brad? Is that you?" If they turn around excitedly and squint their eyes and start scanning the crowds, just wave so we can see you!!! LOL

ReplyDeleteWe're not sure about the costumes. The theme is about Super Heroes and we need to call and get more info. I can just see us riding the subway in some tighty-tight super hero pants!! ;-)
